The British Land Speedsail Association (BLSA) was set up in 1986 to support the sport of Speedsailing in the UK. In 2004 Blokart Sailing was added to cover the new emerging sport.
The BLSA is a non-profit organisation run by a selected committee from its membership.
One of the main reasons for becoming a member of the BLSA is the insurance cover which is included as part of the membership. This insurance covers public liability of £10 million against injury or damage to other person(s) or property; this also covers you on a member to member basis. For further details of our insurance cover please contact us.
The association organises a yearly calendar of social/fun events and also race events/training. Please see the events calendar for more information (Link)
Membership runs from the 1st January to the 31st December, of which we provide an Adult and Junior membership option (Link).
Taster sessions and lessons by BLSA qualified Trainers and Support Instructors are available at selected venues throughout the UK.
